MDU's
MDU's are multi-dwelling units. These can be apartments, Condos, Townhomes, etc. They house multiple homes in one structure.
MDU's create their own challenges, not because of difficulty, but because of disputes. Often times, service providers state the property management is responsible for having new cables run. Likewise, property managers state the service providers are to run the new cables.
This is a very common conflict. It can be either very expensive or maintenance may not have the skill to run the lines.
Why Does this Happen?
As MDU's undergo renovations over the years, more and more things get removed, including cabling needed for services such as internet and television. Sometimes, the existing cabling is just not in the right location, and these things lead to unhappy tenants who may make their frustrations known.
I remedy this situation by providing cabling services at very affordable rates.
Service Providers typically charge no less than $99 per line. That's right, per line. And that doesn't include wall fishing and custom work.
I, on the other hand, negotiate with management on what needs to be done. In the end, I charge way less than Service Providers, and just as important, I make it a very pleasant experience.
